Mr. Canedo is a well-known young attorney in Palm Beach County. He was born and raised in South Florida and has an excellent understanding of the culture and legal community. Mr. Canedo joined Hightower and Partners shortly after working for the Civil and Criminal Appeals Division for the 15th Judicial Circuit of Florida. His foreign language abilities and passion for business gave him a strong foundation to begin his practice in the areas of corporate and insurance defense, focusing primarily on bodily injury, automobile negligence, negligent security, breach of contracts and first party property damage.
Mr. Canedo is admitted to the Florida Bar. He is also admitted to the South Carolina Bar and speaks Spanish and French fluently.
Mr. Canedo attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish. He also received his Master’s degree in International Business at UF, which included a study abroad program at the Ecole de Management in Lyon, France. After graduate school, Mr. Canedo attended the University of South Carolina School of Law at Columbia, South Carolina, where he participated as a member of Moot Court, was a volunteer translator for the Law School Pro Bono Program, a USC Law School Advocate, and Co-Chairman of the Law Class of 2008 Class Gift.
During law school, Mr. Canedo gained valuable experience through his internships at the Palm Beach County Courthouse, the Office of the Public Defender, and the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
During his free time, Mr. Canedo enjoys participating in a wide variety of sports such as soccer and tennis, as well as traveling, playing guitar, music, and being an active volunteer in his community.
