Mr. Murphy has been practicing law in Pinellas, Hillsborough and other surrounding counties for several years and is a senior associate in the Tampa Bay office. In addition to being admitted to the Florida Bar, he is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court Middle District of Florida. Since joining Hightower and Partners, he has represented insurance companies and large retailers where he has specialized in various types of civil cases, including premises liability, automobile and truck accidents, property damage, and construction defects.

Mr. Murphy was born and raised in Ocala, FL and attended the University of Florida, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a specialization in Exercise and Sports Sciences.

After receiving his undergraduate degree, Mr. Murphy continued his education at Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, FL. While there, he obtained a Masters in Business Administration in addition to his law degree. Mr. Murphy consistently made the Honor Roll and gained valuable experience interning with the Pinellas County School Board’s Legal Department. Mr. Murphy received the book award in his Property II course and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honors fraternity, Real Property Law Association, and the Tax Law Society.

Mr. Murphy resides in Tampa and is a member of the St. Pete Bar Association. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and following Gator football.
