Ms. Reeves concentrates her practice in the areas of premises liability, automobile negligence, negligent security, food poisoning, hurricane claims and other property damage, construction defect, subrogation and insurance coverage issues. She is a member of the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Reeves is admitted to the Florida Bar and is admitted in all Florida state courts. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Ms. Reeves is a graduate of Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. During law school, Ms. Reeves received the Book Award for achieving the highest grade in the course of Remedies. She also served as the American Bar Association Law School Division 5th Circuit Lt. Governor for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. She worked as a volunteer and leader to ensure the Barry Law School clinic was successful, and to increase the community outreach of VITA clinics in Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Puerto Rico.
Ms. Reeves has extensive professional experience and knowledge in medical and healthcare information, including medical records, claims, billing, eligibility, pharmacy management, auditing and regulatory compliance. She worked for major insurers for 12 years in the healthcare insurance field. Ms. Reeves has a Bachelorâ??s in Business Administration from the University of Houston. She also volunteered for many years with Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross. Ms. Reeves is currently serving on the Associate Producers Council at the Enzian Theater.
As for personal background, Ms. Reeves enjoys photography, international travel and spending time with her friends and family. She grew up in Jacksonville, Florida but later moved to Houston, Texas to pursue career advancement and attend the University of Houston. After eight years in Texas, Ms. Reeves returned to Florida to be closer to family and pursue her career in law.
