“Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends.”
Thomas D. Capasso was born and raised on Long Island, New York and comes from a long line of attorneys. During his high school and college years, when he had time between football and basketball practice, Thomas spent his summers working at his father and uncle’s private practice in Miller Place, NY. Although New York will always have his heart, after spending several family vacations in sunny Florida, Thomas decided he could not take another winter and decided to make Florida his permanent residence by attending Florida State University. In 2009, Thomas graduated from Florida State University receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Social Science, with a minor in Business and Political Philosophy. While at FSU Thomas’ passion for the law only continued to grow and he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2013.
While in law school, Thomas gained experience in a series of highly sought after internships at the New York State Supreme Court, working for both, the Honorable William Condon and the Honorable Martin I. Efman. After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2014, and prior to joining Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor, Thomas went on to work for a full-service law firm in West Palm Beach, Florida, specializing in insurance defense and subrogation matters. As an Division Leader at Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor, Mr. Capasso practices in all areas of civil litigation.
Thomas lives in Miami, Florida with his wife who is also an attorney. In his spare time, he likes traveling, cooking, watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
