Associate Attorney

We are a well-established, AV-rated defense firm known for providing exceptional legal representation and delivering outstanding results for our clients. We are currently seeking motivated associate attorneys with 0-3 years of experience, ideally in insurance defense, to join our team in Tampa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze legal documents, including reports to carriers, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- Conduct detailed legal research using Westlaw.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Represent clients at conferences, motion hearings, and other court appearances.
- Oversee complex cases from start to resolution.
- Collaborate with experts and team members to secure successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in insurance defense (preferred but not mandatory).
- Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
- Experience in personal injury and/or bodily injury litigation (plaintiff or defense) is highly valued.
- Background in the insurance industry or corporate risk management is a bonus.
- Strong skills in case management and conducting comprehensive discovery.
- Excellent written, oral, and litigation communication abilities.
- Proven capability in taking depositions and working effectively with experts.
