Valeria Peguero was born in Staten Island, New York but later moved to Deltona, Florida, where she graduated from Deltona High School. While in high school, she was captain of Deltona High’s Winter Guard team, Color Guard team, and competed in Miss Florida State Pageant.

After high school, Valeria graduated Flagler College majoring in Political Science with a minor in History. She was part of the Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society and Pi Sigma Honor society.  During this time, she interned for the legal department in a homeowners insurance company where her interest in law peaked.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Valeria went on to attend Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida. She was a member of the Trial Team, Student Bar

Association, the Immigration Law Society, and volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association.

Valeria currently focuses on property damage and personal injury litigation, including auto liability, premises liability, and negligent security. She also volunteers at sealing and expungement clinics, assisting eligible individuals with clearing their criminal records and expanding access to employment, housing, and other opportunities.

When she is not working, Valeria can be found spending time with family and friends or traveling.
