Our Team

Harold Pickmans was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Tampa, Florida. He grew up running track, playing soccer, and practicing taekwondo. Sports taught him qualities he implements in everyday life – discipline, perseverance, and dedication. In college, he co-founded USF’s Pre-Law Society and was Vice President to a philanthropic multicultural greek organization, Lambda Theta Phi. In law school, he was part of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, President of the Labor and Employment Law Association, and Student Body Vice President.
Harold is a first-year attorney at Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor, bringing a unique blend of intellectual property expertise and a passion for defense litigation. With three years of law clerk experience at two prominent intellectual property law firms, he developed a strong foundation in IP litigation, patent and trademark law, and licensing negotiations.
Transitioning to defense work, Harold applies his analytical skills and attention to detail to complex defense cases. This diverse background provides him with a well-rounded approach to client advocacy, focusing on both protecting rights and defending clients against a wide range of claims.
Outside the firm, Harold remains actively engaged in the community, specifically as a mentor to young men at the University of South Florida, practicing community service in food-drives and shelters, and is continuously expanding his legal knowledge to excel as an attorney.
