Jazlyn Figueroa was born and raised in Rochester, New York. Growing up, she enjoyed playing sports from a very young age. There was not a sport that she did not want to try. From Tee Ball at five years old, to Dance, Boxing, Softball, and Volleyball during her youth. In high school, she decided to give her school’s cheerleading team a try with no prior experience, and in a short amount of time, her perseverance in learning helped her excel. She eventually found her passion in All-Star Cheerleading due to her need for a more competitive environment, while simultaneously balancing her high school cheer team as well. Her determination for success in the sport landed her several accolades such as Most Valuable Player of her team, First Team All-County, and a few National Championship titles. She maintains that same determination to channel her drive for success into her professional endeavors at the firm. 

After graduating from high school, Jazlyn moved to Tampa, Florida where she went on to attend the University of Tampa and decided to continue her cheerleading career for her last two years of college. She graduated with a B.S. in Criminology, and a minor in Psychology. 

She received her J.D from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida. During her time at Barry, she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta as well as President of the Hispanic-American Law Student Association. 

Jazlyn joined Hightower & Partners as a law clerk during her second year of law school where she continues to grow and gain valuable insight on a daily basis. During her time at the firm thus far, she has grown an interest in civil litigation and premises liability.
