Stephanie Pillar graduated with honors from American University in Washington, DC with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Music Performance: Piano. She went on to earn her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in New York City. While in law school, she began her litigation career trying misdemeanor criminal cases with the Connecticut State Attorney’s Office and Special Victims Unit cases with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn. She also interned with the U.S. Attorney’s office in Brooklyn, investigating high profile Business Unit crimes.

Stephanie is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, New York, and Florida. She has focused her career on defending complex litigation and catastrophic injury cases. Her significant trial experience showcases a proven record of success and has affectionately earned her the nickname of “the Bulldog”. Stephanie has successfully represented individuals, corporations, and insurance companies in mediations and arbitrations, as well as at trial; providing an aggressive and meticulous defense. She excels at understanding technical, complicated, or unusual claims, providing clear and concise options, and helping clients reach a positive outcome.

Stephanie has taught law and ethics to law enforcement professionals at St. Leo University, mentored attorneys, and has held seminars on timely legal issues, including recent tort reform changes. She is a member and former Committee Chair of the Military and Veterans Affairs Committee of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
