Deni Massey was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She went to a high school for gifted students before attending the University of Georgia where she double majored in Criminal Justice and Sociology. During her undergraduate years, she was an exchange student in Sydney, Australia. After college, she attended Officer Candidate School for the US Navy, but suffered an injury before graduating. When she returned home, she started studying for her master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, before switching her attention to legal studies after she was reminded she was once voted “Most Likely to Be a Lawyer” in elementary school.
Deni applied to and received a scholarship to Penn State Law in State College, Pennsylvania. Despite never having lived in Florida prior to this, she spent her first summer of law school at the West Palm Beach Public Defender’s Office splitting her time between the Juvenile and Felony units. During her second and third year, she worked for a Plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Boca, for which she clerked remotely.
Deni resides in West Palm Beach and currently focuses her practice on bodily injury and general liability and was happy to be recognized as a Top Lawyer by Palm Beach Illustrated in 2025. She hopes to one day run a maritime/admiralty division.
In her spare time Deni enjoys a multitude of leisure and recreational activities outside, especially on the water.
