Our Team

Robert Thaxton grew up in Pennsylvania before moving to South Florida to pursue his education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Memphis, where he developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving. He then went on to earn his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, where he excelled academically, earning a Book Award in Internet Governance and a place on the Dean’s List. During law school, he gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for Judge Jennifer Bailey, deepening his understanding of litigation strategy and courtroom procedure.
Robert has built a career as a trusted legal strategist in the field of first-party property insurance litigation. He has held leadership roles at some of the nation’s top insurance companies, where he managed high-volume litigation, developed cost-saving strategies, and advised on regulatory compliance. His practice focuses on insurance defense, litigation strategy, and claims analysis. He is known for his ability to navigate complex legal issues efficiently while delivering favorable outcomes for clients.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading. Most of all, he loves spending time with his wife and two children, exploring new places and creating lasting memories together.
