Our Team

Valeria A. Sosa was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and immigrated to the United States at the age of 15. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in International Relations from Florida International University. Valeria went on to graduate cum laude from St. Thomas University College of Law.
During law school, Valeria was deeply committed to supporting her peers and serving the community. She served as an Academic Success Fellow, mentoring incoming first-year students, and held leadership roles as Vice President of the Public Interest Law Society and Treasurer of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Additionally, she contributed as a Staff Editor for the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review.
Valeria also gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Antonio Arzola of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. As an immigrant herself, Valeria supported her law school’s immigration clinic during her studies by providing translation services and assisting with case preparation.
She is now a dedicated attorney focusing on first-party property defense. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
