Associate Attorney

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and analyze a range of legal documents, including reports to carriers, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in court appearances for conferences, motions, and hearings.
• Manage complex cases from initiation to resolution.
• Collaborate with experts and fellow legal professionals to achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of experience in insurance defense (preferred but not required).
• Must be an active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Experience in personal injury and/or bodily injury litigation (plaintiff or defense) is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in the insurance industry or corporate risk management is a plus.
• Strong case management skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive discovery.
• Excellent writing, litigation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take depositions and work effectively with experts.
