Associate Attorney

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze legal documents, including reports to carriers, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Conduct detailed legal research using Westlaw.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at conferences, motion hearings, and other court appearances.
• Oversee complex cases from start to resolution.
• Collaborate with experts and team members to secure successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of experience in insurance defense (preferred but not mandatory).
• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Experience in personal injury and/or bodily injury litigation (plaintiff or defense) is highly valued.
• Background in the insurance industry or corporate risk management is a bonus.
• Strong skills in case management and conducting comprehensive discovery.
• Excellent written, oral, and litigation communication abilities.
• Proven capability in taking depositions and working effectively with experts.
